PJM, CAISO and SPP took a step closer Thursday to the full implementation of Order 841 with FERC’s partial acceptance of their Tariff revisions. Order 841, issued in February 2018, directed RTOs and ISOs to remove barriers to the participation of energy storage resources (ESRs) in their wholesale electric markets.
