New Jersey is investing up to $13 million in a pilot project to put six hydrogen fueled trucks to work in the Port of New York and New Jersey.

The grants represent the second round of funding from the IIJA’s $2.5 billion Charging and Fueling Infrastructure program.

The DOE's funding announcement is part of the administration’s effort on clean hydrogen, seen as an emerging technology that offers the U.S. an opportunity to lead the global market.
