Dominion Energy said the cost of its Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project has increased by more than 20% to $9.8 billion.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy announced that it will establish a new plant for offshore wind blades at the Portsmouth Marine Terminal in Virginia.

Dominion will use the Portsmouth Marine Terminal for staging and pre-assembly of the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project foundations and turbines.
