Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is an independent agency that regulates the interstate transmission of electricity, natural gas and oil; reviews proposals to build LNG terminals and interstate natural gas pipelines; and licenses hydropower projects.
