MISO and PJM have again narrowed a list of “quick hit” flowgate projects with the potential to relieve market-to-market congestion.

MISO and SPP are considering potential transmission upgrades under a joint model for identifying congested flowgates that could be relieved by economic projects.

MISO and PJM said last week they will pursue four “quick hit” flowgate projects that show promise in relieving market-to-market congestion.

MISO and PJM have identified what lower-voltage flowgate projects could be done quickly and cheaply on their own sides of the seam.
