The Maryland Energy Administration has $22.5 million it’s planning to use to make low-income homes more energy efficient and put solar panels on their roofs.
With major projects being completed this year, OSW is poised to become a major source of electricity and good jobs, panelists at a BNOW conference said.
All microgrids may be different, but the development process can be standardized, said participants in a feasibility study funded by Maryland officials.
