Company Announces $250M in New Corporate Financing, Commercialization by End of Decade
TAE Technologies of Foothill Ranch, Calif, operated this fusion test reactor and achieved controllable temperatures of 135-million degrees F on multiple occasions since 2014. TAE is now building an upgraded reactor that will achieve 180-degree temperatures and, TAE believes, will become the prototype for commercial fusion "baseload" reactors by the end of the decade.
