Global Hydrogen Conference Reveals Plans to Ship Sunshine
Nearly 5,000 from 145 Countries Participated in 24-hour Conference
Moving from fossil fuels to hydrogen produced without putting carbon dioxide into the air is a 'missing link' in the global race to net-zero emissions. Several participants in the second annual Mission Hydrogen virtual global conference presented plans to ship hydrogen temporarily converted into ammonia over vast distances. Others projected using hydrogen stripped from carbon-rich methane and sequestering the carbon dioxide.
