The Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources held its first hearing Tuesday on pipelines that will carry hydrogen. Expert witnesses testified that hydrogen will initially be blended with natural gas, up to 50%, but were of different opinions about the ability of existing lines to carry 100% hydrogen.
